Don't want to switch to a custom shifter, but still want tap shift with your 6L80 / 6L90 swap project? That's OK! The 6L80 / 6L90 will operate with any aftermarket or OE shifter. Just add our switch box to allow for tap up/tap down shifting capability. The switch can be mounted any place that's convenient for you.

Requires E38 ECM / T43 TCM reprogramming for proper operation with 6L80 / 6L90 setups (we do that - just give us a call!)

If you don't have a Speartech harness with the tap shift plug on it, please see here for wiring info (6L80/6L90 only).

Works with GMPP Connect and Cruise harness kits, will not work with LSA ZL1/CTS-V E67 ECM computers.
Contact us directly for tap shift options with ZL1/CTS-V LSA tunes.

This product requires the use of proper programming before it will ever work. Most E38 vehicles work best with a Corvette tune or Camaro tune with tap shift enabled.
E92 setups require a 2014 Vette tune for proper functionality. No DTC codes can be pending in the background or the product will not work.
